Imagine your mother looking you in the eye and saying, I don't have a
daughter.

Dear John,

Alzheimer's disease is everywhere.

That may sound like hyperbole, but
sadly, it's not.

One in 10 Americans age 65 and older
is living with Alzheimer's disease. 1 in 3 seniors dies with
Alzheimer's or another dementia. Alzheimer's is on the rise in every
U.S. state and it's contributing to poorer health, more disability
and death.

That's why the Alzheimer's Association
must also be everywhere - providing free 24/7 support and
resources and leading the most promising dementia science worldwide.
Your donation could bring us closer to our vision of a world without
Alzheimer's and all other dementia - will you help drive our
vital work with your first gift today?

The statistics - and I gave you just a few - are
sobering. But what the numbers don't show is the personal impact
Alzheimer's has on so many lives - quite likely, on you or
someone you know.

Every day, we connect with people
affected by Alzheimer's, and the stories are heartbreaking: The wife
who cries in the shower so her recently diagnosed husband doesn't hear
her. The couple forced to stare at each other through thick glass, as
the wife's assisted living facility is under COVID-19 lockdown, making
it even harder to share precious moments with a loved one impacted by
Alzheimer's. The daughter struggling through her mother's
hallucinations and agitation.

We want to be there for every person
who's affected by Alzheimer's:

* With master's-level clinicians and specialists ready to connect
families with resources, guidance and crisis assistance through
our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900).
* With training resources for caregivers, so no one is forced to
face Alzheimer's alone.
* And, of course, with our commitment to funding investigations
across the spectrum of dementia science, so one day, no one will
have to face Alzheimer's at all.

Please help us in the fight to end
Alzheimer's by making your first gift today. The more than 6 million
people living with Alzheimer's and their over 11 million caregivers
are counting on you.

P.S. The statistics are terrifying,
but that just makes it more urgent for us to help the people those
numbers represent. Please give today.
