Governor Ducey Signs Bipartisan, Unanimous Legislation Conforming Arizona’s Tax Code
In addition to the $600M tax cut, businesses will be provided immediate relief for any losses suffered during the pandemic, full conformity to federal tax treatment of Paycheck Protection Program loans to exempt them from state income tax, and a state income tax exemption for the first $10K in unemployment insurance benefits received in 2020.

Governor Ducey Signs Legislation To Strengthen Veteran Suicide Prevention Efforts
House Bill 2542 allows the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services to submit data from the Be Connected program for inclusion in an annual report by the Arizona Department of Health Services that details information on veteran suicides in Arizona and aims to prevent suicide deaths by Arizona service members.
