Friend,
It’s popular for politicians these days to say they are running a “grassroots” campaign. But what does that mean? To me, it means rejecting big, corporate money and powering your campaign with the contributions of regular people.
That’s why I’m excited to share some news with you: My finance director told me today that our campaign received more small-dollar donations than any other in the race.
Every time we get another grassroots donation, I know that my movement for change has truly resonated with another person. I’ve had to go up against wealthy, entrenched interests before. I know that we’re stronger when we join together.
That’s why small-dollar donations mean so much to me. With your donation, you’re saying you believe in my vision for a better Virginia and you believe in me to deliver it. I don’t take that lightly.
If you can, will you contribute $25 to my campaign for criminal justice reform, quality public education, and a greener future? We’re stronger when we stand together »
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Imagining a better future is the easy part: it’s the policies we fight for and the causes we stand by that determine what that future will look like and how we’ll get there. I’m thankful you’re in this fight for justice with me.
In solidarity,
Sean Perryman
