Crisis At the Southern Border

The past few months, I have taken multiple trips to the border. Each experience has reinforced my views on the tragic consequences of illegal immigration. Failure to enforce our immigration laws gives cartels free reign to execute their drug and human trafficking schemes and inflict more harm and danger on our country. Men, women, and children make the dangerous journey to our southern border and are often terribly abused along the way. President Biden’s weak border policies will only continue to provoke the surge of illegal aliens into our local communities. Check out the photos below of my recent border trips.

House Judiciary Committee

This week, the House Judiciary Committee held a markup on several bills, including two immigration bills. Neither of these bills addressed the crisis that is happening at the border. Furthermore, we have held zero hearings on Biden's Border Crisis, and the majority has given no indication that they plan on holding one. They are solely focused on undoing Trump policies, regardless of the consequences. Click the photo below to watch my take:

House Committee on Oversight and Reform

The Democrats are so greedy to permanently tilt the political balance of power in their favor that they have presented us with a laughable D.C. statehood proposal. The Left would like to pretend that the 23rd Amendment, which grants residents of the capital at least 3 electoral votes in presidential elections, does not exist. But it does, and this reality can’t simply be willed away. Or maybe the Democrats want the few actual residents of the newly proposed capital district—essentially just President Biden and his immediate family in the White House—to have as much voting power as the residents of some entire U.S. states: a completely ludicrous proposition. Click the photo below to see my remarks:

Democrats Attempt to Pack the Courts

The Supreme Court must faithfully interpret the Constitution. We cannot allow it to fall victim to partisan attempts to pack it with far-left radicals. That is why I introduced a constitutional amendment to permanently set the number of Supreme Court justices at nine. Check out the video below to learn more:
