To protect our democracy, I introduced legislation on Thursday to expand our Supreme Court to 13 judges.
Naturally, as with anything I do that would strengthen democracy and weaken authoritarianism,
the New York Post, Fox News and other right-wing propaganda outlets have begun to attack me ruthlessly.

The Rupert Murdoch controlled New York Post said I “declared war on our nation’s democracy,” and of course, Fox News joined the chorus.
That’s pretty rich coming from a group of outlets
who spread Trump’s treasonous lies about the election. The most charitable explanation is that they have no idea what the word “democracy” means.
The truth is this:
my bill isn’t packing the court; it’s unpacking it. It’s the Republican billionaires who have spent big money perverting our justice system and forcing through ideologically extreme nominees.
