John,
Nurses and health care workers have been fighting to have their safety taken seriously while they work to ensure the safety and health of others for many years, but they need our support.
That’s why LeftNet is proud to join a progressive coalition in support of Representative Joe Courtney (CT-02)’s newest bill, the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act (HR 1195). The bill was introduced in Congress in late February 2021 with bipartisan support.
Passing this bill will be a critical first step in working to end workplace violence — a critical priority in the health care industry, where the workforce faces more instances of workplace violence than any other sector in the American economy.
The time is NOW to take a stand against workplace violence and demand that health care and social service employers provide the necessary preventions needed to end workplace violence.
John, add your name to our petition calling on Congress to protect nurses and health care workers by passing the Workplace Violence Prevention For Health Care and Social Service Workers Act.

During this pandemic, they’ve been watching out for all of us — so now, it’s time for us to take care of them and make sure health care workers, and all workers, have the safe workplace they deserve.
John, add your name and tell Congress to pass the Workplace Violence Prevention For Health Care and Social Service Workers Act.
In solidarity,
