Democrat,
“Undying” Trump supporter and turncoat Jeff Van Drew continues to make headlines, this time by endorsing his fellow “Stop the Steal” enthusiast Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli for Governor. This perfect pairing illustrates just how far the Republican Party has fallen, when the Republican frontrunner for his party’s nomination for governor is willingly accepting the support of a politician in Van Drew who has seemingly reversed himself on every position he’s taken since going to Washington.
At NJDSC we are already working to defeat Van Drew next year, along with grassroots Democrats in South Jersey and throughout the state who know how important it is to beat him. You can join the fight here by choosing your least favorite Van Drew moment, from opposing the COVID-19 relief act to siding with radical Marjorie Taylor-Green to suppressing our right to vote.
With two more tragic mass shootings happening this week alone, the urgent need to enact more stringent gun safety laws has never been more clear, both nationally and here in New Jersey. Governor Murphy is answering that call by proposing a sweeping new package of gun safety reforms that will make our state the toughest on guns in the country. President Biden himself is praising the governor for his quick action, thanking him for “stepping up and taking action to save lives.”
For up to date information regarding new cases and directives regarding coronavirus, or information on vaccine registration and signup, visit the state’s dedicated COVID-19 Information Hub or follow Governor Murphy’s official pages on social media. With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 approaching, President Biden just announced that he will soon pull all U.S. forces out of Afghanistan. This decisive action shows the President’s willingness to move on from the past and embrace a better future for our nation and the world.
Thank you,
Chairman John Currie
