CALIFORNIA WORKERS ON STRIKE FOR A SEAT AT THE TABLE.
SHARE TO SHOW YOU’RE WITH US >> [[link removed]]

John,

I've seen what happens when workers don't have a say in our workplace... Instead of giving us what we needed to keep safe during the pandemic -- PPE, paid sick days, pandemic pay -- we got a calendar telling us that on “Wacky Wednesday” we should wear crazy socks.

All so McDonald's could keep exploiting us for profit. We've had enough of that.

Today, I'm on strike for my rights and to rally support for California's FAST Recovery Act -- a bill about worker power and corporate accountability. Share on FACEBOOK [[link removed]] or TWITTER [[link removed]] >>

The FAST Recovery Act (California AB 257) gives workers a seat at the table to shape industry-wide workplace standards and hold large corporations accountable for upholding those standards.

Corporations like McDonald's have failed to address systemic problems that cause working people harm. So workers like me speak out, march, and STRIKE for our lives and safety. We're here to hold mega-rich corporations accountable for their responsibility to create a safe and healthy workplace.

Our best chance for survival is when we stand together and DEMAND to be heard. We can ALL emerge from COVID-19 stronger than ever before, but only if essential workers have the opportunity to succeed.

The FAST Recovery Act is an important step of giving workers power over the decisions that affect our lives. And it's what workers across the country need. Tell your friends about our strikes to win real worker power in California. [[link removed]]
