Last week, workers at an Amazon warehouse voted against forming a union.

I want to be very clear: This was never a fair fight.

Corporations like Amazon can use their power and influence over workers -- raises, demotions, hours, and beyond -- to crush workers’ attempts to organize a union.

That’s why it’s so important that we pass the PRO Act, a plan I introduced and a crucial provision in President Biden’s infrastructure plan that would empower workers and protect their right to organize a union and combat corporate intimidation.

Polls show that about half of American workers want to join unions. 

That’s because a union card is a ticket to a middle-class life. It’s a ticket to stronger wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions.

The PRO Act would give workers a fighting chance by leveling the playing field between corporations and workers who want to organize a union.
