John,
We’ve put together a new report identifying four anti-vaccine narratives spreading across the Latinx community on social media. As you know, our friends and families are being constantly bombarded by misinformation -- but the first step toward rebutting these lies is to identify them.
(If you’ve recently come across misinformation you’d like to tell us about, please fill out our Vaccine Misinformation Survey. Otherwise, read on to learn about our findings!)

Our new report details the main anti-vaccine narratives targeting Latinx people on social media networks:
1. False claims of post-vaccination side effects
2. Lies about data from government agencies and/or pharmaceutical companies
3. Viral anti-vaccine videos from “doctors” and “experts” with questionable credentials
4. Fringe conspiracy theories about the effects of COVID-19 vaccines
Even though many social media companies take down anti-vaccine lies when they’re made aware of it, the misinformation continues to spread. How? Many of these videos originate on Facebook and/or YouTube and are then cross posted to other social media platforms to evade misinformation flags.
Have you seen any of this misinformation in your day-to-day life? If so, let us know by taking our Vaccine Misinformation Survey ASAP.

Together, we can shine a light on these lies, get our loved ones vaccinated, and put this crisis behind us.
