We’re proud to be endorsing all over New York City, and we want to make sure you get to know all of our changemaking candidates. Our first stop on the subway is Brooklyn.

In District 35, meet our #1 choice, Crystal Hudson. She is a public servant and community organizer committed to advancing change for the neighborhoods of Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bed-Stuy. Her campaign is unapologetically pro-Black, pro-queer, pro-justice, pro-accountability, and people-powered. Learn more about her here. Sign up to volunteer.

Also running in District 35 is our #2 choice, Michael Hollingsworth. He is a lifelong Brooklynite, tenant organizer, and dedicated fighter for housing justice. Learn more about him here. Sign up to volunteer.

Over in Sunset Park, Red Hook, and parts of Borough Park, Dyker Heights, and Windsor Terrace is the incredible Alexa Avilés. She is a proud Boricua, parent, community organizer and public education advocate, and longtime resident of District 38. Alexa will fight for well-resourced schools; safe and equitable school reopenings; dignified, affordable housing; equity and a Green New Deal for New York. Learn more about her here. Sign up to volunteer.

Next up is Shahana Hanif, a Kensington-born and raised daughter of Bangladeshi immigrants running to represent District 39, which includes  the neighborhoods of Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Columbia Waterfront, Gowanus, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Borough Park, and Kensington. She’s an activist, community organizer, and public servant. Learn more about her here. Sign up to volunteer.

Last but not least, meet Farah Louis in District 45, which consists of Flatbush, East Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington, Flatlands, Marine Park, and Canarsie. She is a first-generation Brooklynite, an experienced leader in the City Council, an esteemed community organizer and publicist with over 15 years of experience and dedication to advocacy and public service. Learn more about her here. Sign up to volunteer.

Remember their names and sign up to volunteer—these are the candidates who will not only create change but will work side-by-side with their constituents to vision and lead.

I’ll see you out on the pavement,
