Dear Friend,
Every so often, we will get a note -- or in this case a video -- from a client telling us about their experience working with Hunger Free America. I'm always humbled by their words, as they are a reminder of why we continue our vital work of helping families access government nutrition programs.
This video is only 2 minutes and 20 seconds long, and I hope you have a chance to watch it so that you, too, can more fully understand why Hunger Free America's work matters. Our direct service work is unique because we don't simply give out food that lasts for a couple days or a week. Rather, we help individuals and families secure benefits that will last for months and years to come, as long as they are eligible. Over the course of one year, Seynabou and her son will receive at least $5,448 in SNAP and WIC benefits.
We hope you'll continue to support our imperative work of helping families like Seynabou's access the benefits they need. As Seynabou explains in her video, this nutrition assistance is truly life changing.
