Donald Trump on Ukrainegate: "Rob Portman backed me up, and there's nobody more honorable than Rob Portman of Ohio."

Couldn't disagree more. There is no more spineless member of the Senate than Rob Portman, and his involvement in the Ukraine scandal raises serious questions about what he knew, when he knew it and what he did (or didn't do).

Shop the brand-new "Spineless Portman" line on the OH Dems store -- every item purchased will go to helping us build the infrastructure we need to replace Rob Portman.

Folks -- When the president is embroiled in scandal and face-to-face with an impeachment inquiry, you probably don't want him to call on you for backup.

But that's exactly what Donald Trump just did to Rob Portman -- in a news conference yesterday, Trump threw Ohio's spineless senator under the bus, saying the "only reason" he released aid money to Ukraine was because of Portman.

It's obvious Rob is up to his neck in this scandal. I mean, the guy is the co-chair of the Senate Ukraine Caucus, was embroiled in the Ukraine conversation most of this year, but last week he claimed he was "running around" and didn't have time to read the whistleblower's complaint (uh, it's nine pages long).

Rob Portman has Trump's back, but no spine of his own -- so for a limited time, we're selling a line of Spineless Portman merchandise. Every dollar we raise will go directly into helping us build the infrastructure we need to replace Rob Portman.
