Make no mistake: The looming threat of far-right extremism is getting worse across this country and in Washington.
New reporting by the Washington Post shows that there were 73 domestic terror incidents perpetrated by far-right radicals in 2020, the largest amount since data started being collected. Extremist groups like the Proud Boys are organized, violent, and determined to seize more power. And the worst part? They have help in Congress.
Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert actively supported the Jan. 6th insurrectionists from inside the halls of Congress. And even worse, they're followers of QAnon -- a group the FBI has deemed a “domestic terror threat”.
Far-right lawmakers like these pose a direct threat to the heart of our republic and we need your help to kick them out of power. That's why we launched the Insurrectionist Knockout Fund: to elect strong progressives who will undo all the damage these extremist lawmakers have done.
