PFAW Member,

The New York Times reported this week that in discussions with members of
his administration about his push to build his trademark border wall
(emphasis added):

“The president had often talked about fortifying a border wall with a
water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators, prompting aides to
seek a cost estimate. He wanted the wall electrified, with spikes on top
that could pierce human flesh. After publicly suggesting that soldiers
shoot migrants if they threw rocks, the president backed off when his
staff told him that was illegal. But later in a meeting, aides recalled,
he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down.”

This reporting offers more insight into the depravity, cruelty, and utter
disregard for human decency and the law that we’re up against.

We need to fortify our funding base immediately if we’re going to defeat
Trump and his extremist defenders and save American democracy.

That’s why I’m coming to you, as one of our more engaged supporters, to
