What a remarkable convention, friend – and it’s just the beginning.

I am so honoured to be writing to you after having been re-elected as President of our party after this year’s one-of-a-kind 2021 Liberal National Convention. As our Liberal government continues doing everything it takes to keep Canadians safe and supported, I’m so looking forward to building on the work we’ve done together in recent years to achieve a better, stronger, and more resilient Canada.


We’re a roll-up-your-sleeves, and help-out-a-neighbour kind of party. And those values have never been more necessary than over the past year. It’s the Canadian way, and it’s the Liberal way.


We’re approaching two years into this minority Parliament, and we know the next campaign can happen at any moment. And whenever the time comes, we will be ready to take our positive plan to Canadians.


You, my friends, are the heart of our movement. And we’ve never needed you more. Your support makes all of our progress possible, and whenever the next election arrives, we can’t win a majority government without your continued hard work, riding by riding, poll by poll, right across this country.


So while Erin O'Toole is focused on ‘taking Canada back,’ we are going to be focused on moving Canada forward.
