I wanted to take a moment to give you a quick update on our mid-month fundraising goal. I just got off the phone with my Finance Director, Lexie, and she let me know that after our email yesterday, we saw a massive increase in our online donations.

But I'll be honest, it wasn't the push we needed if we're going to stay on track to hit our $20,000 mid-month fundraising goal. Especially now that Cook Political Report just moved our race to a "toss up" and called me "the most endangered Democratic incumbent on the ballot in 2022."

We're working on running a grassroots-powered campaign and having your support is absolutely crucial if we're going to continue to build a better Kansas. I do have some good news, Lexie informed me that if everyone who reads this email chips in an average of $7.45, we'll be able to close our fundraising gap.
