The New York Times: Next Gerrymandering Battle in North Carolina: Congress -- A North Carolina court threw out the state's legislative map as an illegal gerrymander. Now the same court could force the state to redraw the state's congressional districts as well.

Chip in to help All On The Line prepare our grassroots response

Friend -- The fight for fair maps in North Carolina is gaining momentum.

First, the courts ruled the state's General Assembly maps contain illegal gerrymanders. Now, they're considering whether the state's congressional maps violate the North Carolina Constitution.

This is a huge development for a state where voters have been subjected to gerrymandered maps for the past decade.

These court decisions can reshape the redistricting landscape. And right now, All On The Line is training leaders who can mobilize volunteer networks in the wake of these critical legal battles. But all of that relies on your help -- chip in today.

Here are the facts:
-- North Carolina has 13 congressional districts
-- NC Voters split the congressional vote fairly evenly between Democrats and Republicans in 2018, 48%-50%
-- Yet, Republicans control 10 of the 13 congressional districts

The reason the math doesn't add up is because, as the lawsuit says, North Carolina's House map, "may be the most extreme and brazen partisan gerrymander in American history."

We need your help to ensure AOTL has the resources it needs to organize a grassroots response in states like North Carolina where the fight to end gerrymandering has already begun.
