According to the FBI via the Times Leader, Daniels backer Frank Scavo bragged about being there and “taking back” Congress in the insurrection. Here’s what the FBI has him saying:
“We’re in the Capitol. Stormed the (expletive) Capitol of the (expletive) United States at 58 years old [...] Your own personal tour of the freaking Capitol. We (expletive) took it back. Took it back.”
And right after “storming” the Capitol in the riot, Frank Scavo would return to Northeastern Pennsylvania to introduce Teddy Daniels at the official kickoff event for his run against Matt.

John, as you probably know, Matt Cartwright already has an opponent for his swing district in Northeastern Pennsylvania — far-right activist Teddy Daniels.
But what you might not know is that one of Teddy’s top backers just turned himself into the FBI for being a part of the January 6th Capitol Riots.
John, Frank Scavo is one of the top backers of our opponent Teddy Daniels. He was a guest on Teddy’s podcast and even introduced Teddy at his campaign kickoff earlier this year, saying that Teddy has been “delivered to us by God.”
And now Scavo has turned himself into the FBI for being a part of the January 6th Capitol riots.
