Gun violence is an epidemic in our country. Every year, guns are involved in almost 40,000 deaths. We’ve ignored this senseless violence for far too long, as mass shooting after mass shooting devastates our communities.

Now, we have a chance to take action on this crucial issue. The House of Representatives just passed two bills that would expand background checks if passed by the Senate.

Background checks save lives. 90% of registered voters support background checks. Now, it’s up to the Senate to pass these popular bills and secure background checks legislation.
