Gun Violence Prevention Needs Your Support Now

The legislative session is in full swing and bills are moving quickly through their committees. AB286 passed out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee Friday, April 9th, 2021. This was a big win but it is the first step in the long journey of our legislative process.

Coming up quickly is the next deadline day on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021. This means AB286 needs to pass out of the Assembly floor or it WILL NOT move forward. It is crucial that we have enough votes to get this bill to the next hurdle. 

Nevada needs to lead on gun violence prevention. Banning ghost guns is a necessary measure towards responsible gun ownership and keeping our communities safe. AB286 allows hotels to prohibit guns on their properties. We need to make sure that people traveling to Nevada know it is a safe place to visit. AB286 helps up do this.
