Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) is running for the open seat created when Deb
Haaland was confirmed as our Interior Secretary.

Like Secretary Haaland, Melanie is a climate champion and has extensive
experience on water and environmental issues, making her a perfect fit for
this New Mexico seat. But her opponent is already spending six-figures to
attack her and tarnish her reputation and the special election is on June

Shawn Lassiter (TX-06) is running for an open seat in a Texas suburb that
Joe Biden came just three points shy of winning last year.

Shawn’s a working mom, a former science teacher, a community leader on
education and she’s running an unapologetically progressive and
people-powered campaign. But one of her opponents flew from Las Vegas to
run against her and has the blessing of the Trump family and Ted Cruz.
