My team reached out this morning to update me on our progress toward our mid-month goal tomorrow. To be honest, it wasn’t great news. Our fundraising has taken a hit.

This isn’t completely unexpected. After an election, folks typically start to tune out and the grassroots energy we saw for months fades.

And on top of that, I’ve been so busy fighting to pass additional COVID relief, voting rights protections, the Equality Act, and so much more in the Senate. I just haven’t been able to focus on fundraising.

With so many critical fights ahead, it’s important that I continue to stay focused on doing the job the people of Wisconsin elected me to do, not dialing for dollars.

Your support has always helped me stay focused on the job at hand, not worrying about fundraising. So, I’m hoping I can count on you right now. Will you pitch in $3 to help us catch up before our critical mid-month deadline expires tomorrow?
