Hello there,

Beto O'Rourke used his platform as a presidential candidate to bring attention to gun reform and protect our elections from the GOP's voter suppression tactics. Now he's picking up where he left off and speaking with Texas communities as he considers a run for Texas governor.

Texas shifted blue in 2020, so now governor Greg Abbott is leading the GOP's efforts to restrict voting access in the state ahead of the 2022 election. And this is just the latest example of Abbott's failed leadership.

The day before a white supremacist targeted the Latinx community and murdered 23 people in the El Paso mass shooting, Abbott told his followers to "take matters into our own hands" when it came to immigrants. This year, he protected corporate profits while his own constituents froze to death in winter storms.

We know Texas needs a new set of leaders, and the Lone Star State is ready to flip blue. But we don't know yet if Democrats want to see Beto O'Rourke lead the state as governor. We want to finally flip Texas this cycle, but before we act, we need to hear from our most engaged supporters.
