In January, President Joe Biden unveiled his American Rescue Plan to ramp up vaccine distribution, provide immediate, direct relief to struggling families, and build back the American economy stronger and more equitable than ever before. And less than three months later, we’re already seeing results.

As of last week, 171 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, well exceeding President Biden’s initial goal of 100 million vaccines in his first 100 days. And after having infused hundreds of billions into the economy to fund unemployment insurance, emergency rent and mortgage relief, small business support and the Paycheck Protection Program, school reopening, childcare, and more, the economy is already showing signs of pre-pandemic life.

Simply put, despite Republicans’ best attempts at derailing the federal stimulus and jeopardizing all of the hard-won progress we’ve made on keeping our communities safe from COVID-19, our plan is working -- and Americans across the political spectrum agree.

This is what happens when you put working families first, and we need to continue building on all of the progress we’ve made to get our country back on track. We need to elect and re-elect Democrats to keep our recovery going.
