The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 signed by President Joe Biden is one of the boldest pieces of legislation in American history. Included in this monumental bill is an additional incentive for Alabama to expand Medicaid. Hundreds of thousands of Alabamians will gain health coverage and rural hospitals will benefit if Alabama takes advantage of the tremendous incentive that comes with Medicaid Expansion.
Right now, Alabama’s governor is considering expanding this essential program, while people across the state are counting on this important policy to be passed.
