You’ve been hearing from my team this week about our fundraising goal for April. I wanted to make sure you had a chance to hear from me too because this goal is really important. Can I have a minute to explain?

We have to keep up our fundraising momentum now that a Koch-backed dark money group dropped a TV ad attacking me and this people-powered campaign.

And the thing is, I completely expected the attack ads to come, but no one, not even me, expected that they would come 19 months before I’m up for reelection again.

I love being a U.S. Senator and I love representing the great people of Arizona. And this attack ad or the next one or the one after that won’t be enough to keep us from holding this seat if we all come together and fight for it.

That’s why your support is so important and why today I have to humbly ask:

If you’re able, will you make a $3 contribution to our people-powered campaign? The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself because it’s going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help reach our goals and fight for change.
