While lung cancer continues to be the #1 cancer killer of both women and men, last year's State of Lung Cancer
report showed an improved five-year survival rate. However, people of color who are diagnosed with lung cancer face worse outcomes compared to white Americans.
That's why we invest in the most promising lung cancer research while continuing to advocate for meaningful policy changes to reduce and eliminate racial disparities in lung health outcomes. |
