Since the first news about the COVID-19 vaccines broke, Big Tech giants like Facebook have seen anti-vaccine content flood their sites. Top search results for “covid vaccine” on Instagram (owned by Facebook) are often monopolized by anti-vaccine posts or accounts, and similar content spreads across the main Facebook site like wildfire.

Facebook previously pledged to crack down on misinformation, but they’ve fallen woefully short in removing lies surrounding the pandemic and the vaccines.
