John -- Republicans are determined to keep people -- particularly Black and Latinx people -- from voting. At the state level they've introduced 361 voter suppression bills so far this year, 10 times as many as last year. But Congressional Democrats can protect voting rights by passing the H. R. 1, the For the People Act.

Here's the problem: Certain Democratic senators, like Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, have been reluctant to move the For the People Act forward, clinging to outdated procedures. So Voto Latino is taking the fight right to them.

We're running ads in Arizona encouraging Sen. Sinema to stop blocking a Senate vote on the For the People Act. So far, hundreds of people have contacted Sen. Sinema’s office to urge her to let the Senate vote on this landmark voting rights legislation.
