Corporations and billionaires got 54% richer during the pandemic -- while millions of working families and small-business owners struggled to make ends meet.
They profited off our isolation and changing public health needs, enabled by Republicans who've spent decades giving tax cuts to corporations that don't need them. The same Republicans who thought approving a second round of stimulus checks for working Americans was “wasteful.”
Now Democrats want to even the playing field. Joe Biden has proposed a $2 trillion infrastructure plan that will create millions of good-paying jobs, boost our economy, invest in our schools, and address the climate crisis -- and he wants to finance it by finally making corporations pay their fair share of taxes.
The problem is Republicans are already working to sway public opinion against the bill. We want to show lawmakers that the American people are tired of seeing corporations cheat the system. But first, we need to hear from you, please:
