When Virginia went to the ballot box in 2017, we made history. Yes, we elected the most diverse class of Delegates in our Commonwealth's history. Yes, we came as close as we've come in decades to flipping the House of Delegates.

But perhaps most importantly, we elected Delegates who ran on a platform of providing healthcare for hundreds of thousands of Virginians through Medicaid expansion. Today, thanks to you, our Democrats in the General Assembly, and a handful of Republicans with the courage to do the right thing, Medicaid expansion is helping thousands of families across the Commonwealth afford life-saving health insurance.

Unfortunately, as we speak, Republican state officials and the Trump Administration are suing to repeal the entire Affordable Care Act. If they're successful, Virginia's Medicaid expansion and healthcare for thousands of families could be wiped out overnight.

We can't let that happen.
