Libraries reopen image
*WELCOME BACK!*
The majority of our libraries reopened on Monday and it’s been fantastic to see you browsing our shelves once again.
Things you can now do:
* *Visit the library to browse the shelves and choose your own books*Â
* *Bring children in to the library to choose new books*Â (under 12s must be accompanied by an adult)
* *Return items*Â borrowed from any Nottingham or Nottinghamshire Library
* *Use a library PC and print/scan/copy*Â (it is still advisable to book in advance due to limited PC numbers and time will be limited to allow for cleaning)
* *Order your books with the Click and Collect service from all open libraries*Â and place reservations on the online library catalogue
Our *fines amnesty* continues until 1 July so there will be no fines for overdue books. Please do bring back your items as soon as you are able to, so that we can get them back on our shelves!Â
Our top priority is keeping staff and customers safe and we have safety measures in place, including temporary opening hours, wearing face coverings indoors and Track & Trace.

Novels that Shaped our World

*BBC Novels Workshops now available to watch online.*
We were excited to collaborate with Nottingham City of Literature for the BBC Novels That Shaped our World series - a year-long celebration of literature at the BBC and explores 100 novels which have had an impact over the last 300 years.
Guided by facilitators Eve Makis, Sophie Sparham, and Panya Banjoko, we discussed forgotten voices and women in literature, honed our creative writing skills, and designed a ‘Manifesto for Change’.
We were also delighted to welcome guest authors: Abi Daré, author of 'The Girl With the Louding Voice', Zing Tsjeng, Executive Editor of Vice UK, and Selina Nwulu, award-winning poet and Young Poet Laureate for London 2015-16.Â
The workshops have now passed, but don't worry if you missed them, as you can now watch them online.Â
