More lockdown measures lifted this week, but dangerous rumours about vaccines are still surging.

We recently investigated a post that claimed coronavirus vaccines are “experimental”. This is untrue—all the coronavirus vaccines being used in the UK have been trialled, tested and approved.

Rumours like this threaten put lives at risk, and prolong the pandemic.

As independent fact checkers, our 2,300 monthly supporters are our best guarantee that dangerously false information can be consistently scrutinised and challenged.
