When we emailed you in February, we told you that more than 250 voter suppression bills had been introduced in 43 states.

The Brennan Center has been tracking these bills, and the number has increased by 44 percent and now includes four additional states.

-- February 19: 253 Bills in 43 states
-- March 24: 361 Bills in 47 states

We must protect the right to vote and end partisan congressional gerrymandering -- by passing the For the People Act -- especially because partisan politicians across the country are trying to disenfranchise voters and manipulate maps.
