Ever since the start, we've been proud to have supporters not only just from NY-16, but also from all over who believe in the power of our progressive movement.
And while he may represent New York's 16th District in Congress, the work that Jamaal is doing isn't only for the Bronx and Westchester. The leadership he shows in leading NY-16 is for all our communities that are in need of the same bold, progressive leadership and policies.
This movement is for all of us, John, and we're so proud of what we've been able to build so far thanks to your continued support. There's a lot more work ahead of us, and a lot we need to get accomplished to bring the much-needed change our communities have been waiting on us for.
Yesterday, we told you that we need to raise $20,000 over email by tomorrow at midnight if we want to ensure our movement can continue at its full potential. We're so thankful to the folks who've stepped up since then, but the truth is, we're still tracking behind our goals and need a surge of support to reach this goal.
