The Biden administration recently released its infrastructure plan for America, which puts the climate crisis front and center. Whether it's building new offshore wind farms or repairing aging infrastructure to better weather future storms, the Biden proposal is a significant step in the right direction.
However, the GOP is already balking at the price tag and unifying in its opposition to anything to do with addressing the climate crisis. Furthermore, many Democrats are equally unconvinced, making the future of this bill far from certain.
Let's be clear: Americans can't wait for the GOP and wayward Democrats to see through the veils of lies and deceits cast over them by Big Oil and Coal to finally see that the climate crisis isn't going away -- it will only get worse with every day of inaction.
Unfortunately, this inaction is spreading into the American people themselves, with only 45% of Americans saying they support Biden's plan. If this keeps up, we'll take no action on climate change, our infrastructure will continue to crumble, and our economy will continue to fail.
