It’s clear where Mike’s political allegiances lie.
We’re no longer surprised when Mike Garcia proves his loyalty to the radical far-right, but it’s still a little bit shocking to see his name appear on a byline in Breitbart.
The incendiary alt-right media outlet is known for publishing racist and sexist views and even conspiracy theories -- including around the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mike has always made it clear that he’s in Washington to serve an ultra-conservative political agenda, not the people of this district. But after more than 560,000 American deaths from COVID-19 -- many of which could have been prevented if the Trump administration had done the bare minimum to protect us -- you’d think he’d finally acknowledge the reality that the virus is extremely dangerous and federal and state governments’ efforts to mitigate spread were essential.
Well, it seems that we can’t expect even that much from CA-25’s elected representative.
In his Breitbart op-ed, Mike ignored the realities of the pandemic and instead attacked leaders who tried to protect our people as “woke and weak.”
We can tell you what’s weak, Mike: bowing to political demagogues like Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene and advancing the priorities of the racist, sexist right wing rather than serving your constituents.
