This week marked the 100th day of this session of Congress, and I couldn't be prouder of the work we’ve done so far.
We passed the American Rescue Plan to get folks back to work and rebuild our communities. We sent the Equality Act to the Senate because it's long past time LGBTQ+ Americans were guaranteed equal protection under the law. And we voted in favor of my bill -- the Wild Olympics Wilderness and Wild and Scenic Rivers Act -- to protect some of the most environmentally sensitive areas of the Olympic Peninsula -- and create good-paying, local jobs in the process.
We're making critical progress on important issues because of our Democratic House majority, but we're only five seats away from losing Democratic control. So I need your help. Can I count on you to chip in $5 before Thursday's mid-month deadline to help us protect our Democratic House majority and all the gains that we've made?
I know it might seem early to be asking for your support, but -- believe it or not -- we already have at least one opponent, with more waiting in the wings. With our House majority as slim as it is, we cannot take a single seat for granted. We need to start raising resources now to fund our re-election campaign, and your early support will have the biggest impact.
