Thank you so much for all the support I've received so far as I fight alongside Democrats in the House to get the American Jobs Plan through Congress.

 

I know I've said it before, but it's so important to emphasize: This bill will create jobs, catapult us into a green future, and help us recover from the pandemic. It will ensure that basic needs like housing, clean drinking water, and electricity are accessible to every American. In doing so, it redefines “infrastructure” to include things like childcare and prioritizes racial justice.

 

I want everyone in PA-05 to know that they are a part of making change in our district -- and this bill is a massive step forward in making life better for people here at home and across the country.

 

But Republicans in both the House and the Senate are staunchly opposed to this bill, even though a majority of Republican voters support provisions like affordable care for aging people and individuals with disabilities, living wages for care workers, and paid family and medical leave. They aren't acting in the interests of their constituents -- so we need to take a stand.
