Hi, it’s Susie.
Growing up in a family of ten could get pretty hectic at times. But my parents made sure that they taught all of us the value of hard work. Like folks all across NV-03, I’ve worked hard my entire life - and it sure didn’t stop once I got to Congress.
I couldn’t do this without your generous support, though. Will you chip in right now to meet our mid-month goal of $8,000 by Saturday?
A former military veteran, my father worked at a steel company and brought home the single paycheck we used to support the family. Thinking back on his sacrifice inspires me when the fight for what’s right gets tough.
After my dad lost his job, I took on four jobs. This is when I learned that the fight is always worth it.
While I was doing what I could to build my future, my father lost his job. My parents struggled into their retirement as he wasn’t able to find another job. And the fact of the matter is that so many families across Nevada are able to recall similar stories of their own.
I fight for the dignity of working families in Nevada because I know my family could’ve used someone like that when growing up. Whether it be job stability, the future of our economy, or retiring with dignity - I’ve always been the first to sign up for the fight.
Will you join me in this fight by chipping in $15 or any amount you can right now to help us meet our mid-month goal?
Some of these fights in Congress are no walk in the park. However, growing up with 7 brothers and sisters gave me the tough skin that I need to stay resilient and persevere.
Let’s keep up the good fight.
With gratitude,
Susie Lee
