Busy week for Precious Life protecting unborn babies and theirĀ mothers

Precious LifeĀ wereĀ busy this week all across Northern Ireland. Our dedicated volunteers were outside abortion centres in Belfast, Derry, and Newry - lovingly reaching out toĀ vulnerable women. We provide these womenĀ with compassionate life-affirming solutions to any 'crisis' they may be facing - because we believe every life is precious and love changes lives.šŸ’ž

When she wasn't outside the abortion centres, Bernadette was also out delivering essential 'Baby Packs' to mums in need. The van was packed full of nappies, wipes, toiletries, baby clothes buggies car seat, moses baskets, baby highchairs, walkers, etc. All the mums were so thankful and appreciative of the many items they received.

We recently received a beautifulĀ messages from one ofĀ mumsĀ we've helped...

"Hi Precious Life, I just wanted to say thank you all so much for the help you have given me, I'm lost for words at how thoughtful you all are. After you dropped the baby items off I went into labour and my baby boy was born at 3.14am and born about 10mins after I arrived at the hospital. I honestly couldn't be more grateful at how much you have helped me & what you have done thank you so much. xxx"

Many congratulations to this new MummyĀ on the birth of her baby boy. And a big THANK YOU to all our loyal supporters whose kindĀ donations helpĀ Precious life always beĀ there to support both mother and babyĀ šŸ’™šŸ¤±šŸ»

ACTION ALERT

Following last week's ACTION ALERTĀ to SDLP Minister Nichola Mallon, we are now encouraging people to contact all their SDLP elected representatives to ask them to uphold the right to life of unborn babies in Northern Ireland. The SDLP told the electorate that they were a "pro-life" party, and many people voted for them because of this assurance. However, sadlyĀ there are SDLP Assembly Members and MPs who have betrayed their voters and are now openly supporting and promoting the killing of unborn babies in Northern Ireland.

Take Action
If you voted for the SDLP, we encourage you to contact your local representatives. It is more effective for you to telephone them, or write a letter to them. Emails can easily be blocked or deleted. A letter by post however will mean they have to respond.

In your own words, tell them that you voted for them in good faith on account of their claim to be ā€˜pro-lifeā€™. Tell them that their first responsibility must be to uphold the fundamental right to life of every person ā€“ born or unborn ā€“ in Northern Ireland. They must honour their commitments to ensure all babies in the womb areĀ protected in law, policy and practice. Tell themĀ you will not vote for them in any future elections if they cannot promise to protect all unborn babies from abortion.

You can find the contact details of the elected representativesĀ in your local area here...

!!!SAVE THE DATE!!!
3rd July 2021Ā

The Rally for Life is the largest annual pro-life gathering in Ireland, and is highly-regarded as an exciting, colourful, life-affirming event. Centred around a major pro-life March on the first Saturday of July, the Rally has now grown into a whole Pro-Life Festival celebrating life.

In 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions,Ā the Rally for Life events were hosted online - but with 36 local rallies held around the country. Precious Life organised Life Chain events in the cities of Belfast, Derry and Newry, and in counties Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, and Tyrone.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, this year's 'physical' Rally looks unlikely to go ahead and will be hosted online. ButĀ Precious Life will also once again organiseĀ more Life Chain events across Northern Ireland (in accordance with whatever regulationsĀ are in place in July). We will keep you up-to-date over the coming weeks. Contact us if you would like to help organise an event in your area.

Meanwhile, you can relive some of the colourful highlights of previous years' rallies in these videos here šŸ˜ŠšŸ“¢šŸŽˆ
