Bloomberg: House GOP planning climate package to counter Democrats

At a time when our government needs to act urgently and immediately to end the climate crisis, Republicans are putting together a plan that capitulates to the big polluters who write them campaign checks.

The GOP climate bill would hinder efforts to ban hydraulic fracking and make it easier for companies to build environmentally-destructive pipelines and mines.

We don’t have time for compromise on climate action, but Republicans are just 5 seats away from taking back the House. We can’t let them drag us backwards -- will you chip in to defend IL-06 and our Democratic majority so that we can keep up the fight to save our planet?
