28-year incumbent, corporate-backed Carolyn Maloney has taken millions
from Wall Street and real estate developers over her career. Wall Street
and real estate profiteers are the very things that led to the rising
rents that forced Rana’s father to close his deli and her family to move
six times in her childhood.
