You Can Create Mighty Change in Maricopa County
Weeks after the Federal tax deadline was extended, Arizona followed suit and matched the 5/17 deadline. That’s an additional month for taxpayers to file and pay their State and Federal taxes.
This is great news for all Arizonans. Not only do you have an additional month to file, but you also have that extra time to decide where you want your tax dollars to go.
Before you file, consider giving through the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. Donors like you can get a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on a donation to a qualifying nonprofit, including Valley of the Sun United Way.
Individuals can donate up to $400, and couples can donate up to $800 and get that same amount back when they file. Seem too good to be true? It’s not!
Your donation will drive positive change for our community to reach Mighty Goals in Health, Housing and Homelessness, Education and Workforce Development. These goals are part of our
