Friend —
Every day it becomes more and more apparent that we can no longer wait for accountability and reform in our justice system. President Joe Biden promised to answer that call, and one of the first things he and Vice President Kamala Harris did after winning their election was select Kristen Clarke to serve as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division in the U.S. Department of Justice.
One of the country's preeminent civil rights attorneys, Kristen will bring a wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of the country’s legal system and civil rights laws to this critical role. We are proud to endorse her nomination, and if she's confirmed, she'll be the first woman and first Black woman to serve in this position.
Despite her clear qualifications, there are efforts to impede Kristen's confirmation. Reforming our justice system and advancing civil rights can't wait any longer when our LIVES on the line.
We need to show that people stand with Kristen and President Biden in the fight for justice. Join The Collective Super PAC in urging the Senate to confirm Kristen without delay. Add your name.
With hate crimes, employment discrimination and voter suppression tactics on the rise, Americans need Kristen's voice, experience, and leadership at the U.S. Justice Department. She will work to vigorously defend the civil rights of historically underrepresented communities and the constitutional rights of the most vulnerable members of our society.
We're urging the U.S. Senate to swiftly confirm her historic nomination, but we need your voice to show our support for Kristen. Add your name now to demand the Senate confirm Kristen Clarke.
Thank you,
Quentin
