Early polling in North Carolina is showing Pat McCrory leading the pack of GOP candidates in a race that could very well determine Senate control.
POLITICO is already calling him an “early frontrunner,” and pollsters are saying he’s "well-positioned" to be the party's Senate nominee in 2022.
It’s clear McCrory is going to be a strong contender, and he’s about as far-right as they come.
