Crumbling roads, collapsing bridges, tainted water: our infrastructure is failing. Here in Michigan, we know it all too well.

That’s why I’m thrilled that President Biden just announced the American Jobs Plan -- a historic plan to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure, create good-paying jobs, and strengthen American manufacturing.

And folks, a new poll just revealed something extraordinary. 73% of the country supports the American Jobs Plan -- including 57% of Republicans!

But like clockwork, rightwing Republicans are already smearing this plan and spending millions to obscure the fact that the vast majority of the country supports it.

One particular part of the plan stands out to me. I’ve been sounding the alarm since my first day in Congress -- our country is falling behind our biggest competitors in manufacturing, training, supply chains, and research & development.

As part of the American Jobs Plan, President Biden is calling for a $180 billion investment in our manufacturing sector to make sure we stay on the cutting edge.
