Editor's Note:
When one thinks of tyranny, the usual first thought is of governmental overreach. The society we live in today, however, is increasingly influenced — even controlled — by corporations who think they should be our conscience. More than the usual suspects have bought into this sanctimony, too. As Tristan Justice describes, at least 100 corporate leaders met this past weekend to discuss their self-appointed duty to shape the fabric of our culture. Our freedoms will be safer if they just stick to selling their products. Reprinted with permission. Pat Daugherty, Ed.D.
