COVID-19 is not the only public health crisis we’re facing in America.

The epidemic of gun violence is claiming lives in communities in Nevada and across the nation.

Just yesterday, we learned of another fatal school shooting, this time in Knoxville, Tennessee.

We are not powerless. President Biden is taking action to reduce the proliferation of ghost guns, ensure guns don’t end up in the hands of those who pose a threat to themselves or others due to serious mental illness, and more. It’s up to Congress to take further steps to close background check loopholes and ban weapons of war like semi-automatic assault rifles.
